Spraybooth specialist David Utting Engineering has demonstrated how their in-depth knowledge of bodyshop operations and design assists clients’ projects with a successful installation at the influential Bill Heaney Car Body Centre in Tyne & Wear.

Bill Heaney Car Body Centre is approved by Porsche Centre Newcastle, BMW, MG, Bentley and Volvo and has been associated with prestige vehicle body repair for over 35 years, having grown from a small family run business in 1975 to become one of the region’s leading body repair specialists. The business recently moved to a new 1 acre site on the Tyne Tunnel Estate, affording the opportunity to expand the business with improved facilities and better accessibility for customers and dealerships.

He completely changed our pre-conceived ideas, suggesting a better layout and design. He dug out the floor, installed the electrics, compressor and ring main, positioned and fixed the lifts as well as our internal valet bay, an aluminium repair cabin, mixing room and a unique customer handover bay, enabling the customer to see the quality of the repair in a well lit and enclosed environment.
